You lot need to setup the privacy settings , all excepted purchases have to be enabled.

These type of cookie cutter answers, when this cantankerous platform Fortnite consequence is splattered all over the internet, is what is incorrect with these type of forums. I accept already chosen the "and then called" support for Xbox and they cannot figure it out. I take emailed Ballsy and they say it is Microsoft's mistake. I have set my child's account to wide open and public in Fortnite just in example. This is a problem either on Microsoft's stop with child accounts or Epic's disability to code the game to work for cross platform. If you cannot answer with helpful tips or fixes then keep your queue card answers to yourself. And yes that is a piffling salt for the 24-hour interval!

Ive logged the beneath with Epic as from my last conversation with XBOX suport they put teh blame firmly in that location, though on my first chat wth Ballsy they said it was an MS restriction. Ideally both side sjust need to talk

Issues
Cantankerous platform setting does not enable on child account despite following all the setup advice. I have been through testing with both Epic and MS on my finish and after many hours of conversation and testing options my finish Microsoft have asked me "kindly re-contact Epic back up and provide this reference number". Please work with MS to resolve this equally the "workaround' I've seen to setup a second account as an adult non only by passes whatsoever security and control we take under the family unit business relationship and allows other access on the Xbox but also ways all achievements etc are lost
Background
- The MS Accounts where originally setup as Child account nether a Microsoft Family account and alter setup equally XBOX alive accounts
- Epic and Xbox Live accounts have been linked
- Only the child accounts are afflicted all Adult accounts on this Xbox piece of work for cantankerous platform play
- Child accounts tin play online with no issue its just cross platform
- Kid accounts tin cross platform play when logged into a PC
- Tested by attempting cross platform play from iii accounts across 2 PC'south
Scenarios tested (accounts were removed and re-added to Xbox after each scenario alter)
- Account setup every bit a kid in the MS family business relationship and Xbox
- Account setup as a kid in the MS family account but the Xbox settings all fix to developed/unrestricted
- Account setup with over eighteen Appointment of Birth in the MS family account but however a Child and the Xbox settings all set to adult/unrestricted
- Account setup equally Adult in the MS family unit account and Xbox settings all set to developed/unrestricted

Fantastic answer and logs. I have tried all of these to no avail besides. I call up it must merely be a issues in Microsoft's algorithm when they linked info with Epic setting upward cross platform. I did non know that you could log the kid epic account into PC and play cantankerous platform I just never thought most it. I am going to continue to pursue this every bit last night myself and my two boys were not able to utilize two xbox ones and my Pc to play together.

This doesn't work.
I can play with my (Adult) Xbox acc and my son on his switch and my daughter on the Ipad with no problems, but when I want to play on PC and let my daughter employ the Xbox (kid) acc it fails. Same with my son's Xbox (child) acc.
This seem the dumbest Xbox affair ever since crossplay
To bask the game with controllers I have to play on the Xbox (adult) acc, my son my PC and my daughter on my son'south switch :)
